Moorefield Middle School September Memo

MMS Traffic Pattern

Please be advised that the speed limit on school property is 15 MPH. This speed limit will be enforced. Law enforcement officers will begin issuing traffic citations to individuals who do not abide by the 15 MPH speed limit. We have many students who walk between the two schools. We also have students who walk to and from Caledonia Heights and Yellow Bud. Following the 15 MPH speed limit is for everyone’s safety. Parents and other visitors at MMS: Please pay close attention to the signs posted regarding the traffic pattern.

We are Not Rude, We are Just Safe!

Car riders are to be picked up on the car rider side. (Rt. 55 side) For the safety of the students, car riders must be picked up in the MMS checkered drop off and pick up lane. Parents are NOT to wait in the MIS lane to pick up students. Please park in inside lane, all the way to the end of the sidewalk and keep pulling forward.

Fall Harvest is scheduled for October 11, 2017. Some of the different activities students will see is traditional apple butter making, civil war re-enactors, basket making and storytelling.
